Nathan Fielder Interview Just Before He Took The Stage For Live Show in Toronto
Mr ShoBiz caught up with Nathan Fielder in November 2015 at Bloor Hot Docs in Toronto. He was about to perform live in front of a sell-out crowd.
Nathan Fielder Interview Highlights:
Mr ShoBiz: All Right, here we are, he is about to do a show, here we are The Bloor Hot Docs Cinema. We have sparkling water everywhere, Nathan Fielder is with us. Nathan, thanks for being back on with Mr ShoBiz.
Nathan Fielder: Always a pleasure, Daryl. Always a pleasure to be on Mr ShoBiz.
Mr ShoBiz: So Nathan, before we get into the interview. The photo that everybody is looking at, is you holding a bowl of oranges. It’s a little schtick I’m doing. You are the first person to be published who is holding a bowl of oranges. So thank you for doing that.
Nathan Fielder: You’re welcome. How did that idea come about?
Mr ShoBiz: Inside joke with friends on a stag in San Fransisco.
Nathan Fielder: Oh that’s good, I guess. Are you going to explain your joke to the audience.
Mr ShoBiz: Well here’s my line. A Good Day Includes a Bowl of Oranges.
Nathan Fielder: Ok. Even after you explain it it still feels very inside. I’m happy to do it. I’m happy to do it.
Mr ShoBiz: For Neighbors 2 we are going to do a prize giveaway where people are going to send in photos of themselves with Bowls of Oranges. I don’t know.
Nathan Fielder: Ah. No Comment.
Mr ShoBiz: Perfect.
